Jasming Senel is a senior from Miami, Florida majoring in neuroscience. She has a passion for education and science as a member of the BUSM Lowery Lab, LA for CAS NE 212, Emergency Medical Technician and piano teacher. In her free time, Jas loves biking, cooking, and playing basketball. After graduating, Jas hopes to attend either medical or pharmacy school.

Albina is a junior from Colorado Springs, CO majoring in Chemistry: Chemical biology with a minor in Russian Language. She is currently a pre-pharm student and hopes to go to med school or pharmacy school. Currently she is a red cross volunteer where she works as a phlebotomist as well as a campus RA, and orgo UA. In her free time she likes to bake, hike, shop, and read mediocre novels.

Elisa is a junior from Livorno, Italy, double majoring in Chemistry and Art History. After undergrad, she hopes to go to graduate school for either Art Conservation or Forensic Science. When she isn’t busy with school work, she can likely be found reading a book, watching Formula 1, or taking care of her cats. She also enjoys working out, cooking, and doing crosswords.

Sankalp Bhoyar is a senior from Chelmsford, MA, majoring in Neuroscience with a minor in Public Health on the pre-med track. He conducts pediatric asthma research at Boston Children’s Hospital under Dr. Wanda Phipatanakul, works as an EMT at BU and Cataldo Ambulance Company, and is an LA for CH373. Sankalp enjoys playing basketball, watching anime and working out.

Tyler Williams is a junior from Scranton, Pennsylvania. He is majoring in Chemistry and Physics and is a member of the Doerrer Group in the Department of Chemistry. In his spare time he likes to play guitar, hike, thrift, and watching baseball.

Anastasia is a senior double-majoring in Neuroscience and Psychology. She is an EMT in her hometown and Boston and is experienced in rodent-model neuroscience research.

 

Ava Kim

Community Service Chair

Ava Kim is a junior from River Vale, New Jersey majoring in physical therapy and minoring in hospitality. She is currently in her last year of the undergraduate portion of Sargent's 3+3 BS/DPT program and aspires to be a Formula 1 physical therapist. Currently she is a volunteer for an adaptive sports program for children with special needs at Franciscan Children’s Hospital and works at the Track at New Balance. In her free time she likes doing photography, going on side quests, and cafe hopping.

Daniela is a sophomore from Vista, CA, double-majoring in biochemistry and political science, with the intention of minoring in philosophy. She is on the pre-med track, hoping to go on to med school and have her own practice. Outside of school, she likes to volunteer at local animal shelters and works as a fundraising ambassador for a non-profit.

Currently she volunteers at Mass Gen Eye and Ear and is apart of a research lab at Boston Children’s Hospital focusing on deafness. During her free time she likes biking, exploring the city, and hanging out with friends!

Im a sophomore majoring in Chemistry and Physics with a minor in Biology. Im currently involved in a nanoparticle drug delivery research in BU, and I plan to get a doctorate degree after graduating college. In my free time I love playing basketball and watching movies.

Kyla Pascoe is a sophomore from Whitehall, PA, majoring in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology with a minor in Japanese Language and Literature. She aspires to attend a postgrad PA program. In her free time, she likes hiking, crocheting, watercolor painting, and picking up new hobbies.

Ema Yamashita is a junior from Honolulu, HI. She is majoring in Biology with a specialization in Neurobiology and is also on the pre-med track. Currently, Ema is part of a research lab and shadows a neonatologist on the medical campus. She enjoys hiking, going to the beach, and hanging out with friends.

Win Rati (Bora) Oo is a junior from Myanmar, currently living in Texas. She is pursuing a major in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology with a minor in Religion on the pre-medical track. Bora is currently conducting Alzheimer’s research in Dr. Angela Ho and Dr. Uwe Beffert’s lab. Beyond the lab, she is a certified phlebotomist and is shadowing physicians across specialties including cardiology, neurology, and orthopedics in Boston. She is also a founding chemist at a startup developing an anti-flake roll-on serum. In her free time, Bora enjoys watching movies and shows, going on scenic walks, and exploring new foods.
